Amanveer met Aman through a family friend. They met, they fell in love and Amanveer knew that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with Aman. Amanveer is one of those guys who doesnt do things in a small way so he knew that he wanted to propose in a big way. A special way, so he collected Aman in the morning for a surprise mystery trip and flew her up to Scotland from the Midlands for the day. Unbeknown to Aman, he had also chartered a boat from Cruise Loch Lomond just for the two of them so they could see Loch Lomond.
He didnt tell Aman that the boat was just for them, with her thinking they were just going for a cruise. They arrived at Tarbert and then boarded the Lomond Queen, with a smiling Aman, who was enjoying her mystery trip to Scotland. The skiper and crewman were in on the big secret and I was pretending to be just another passenger, and as we reached the Inversnaid Falls the skipper stopped the boat and Amanveer dropped to one knee, held out the engagement ring and asked Aman to spend the rest of her life with him. And she said YES…!
On Loch Lomond sometimes we can experience two or even three seasons in one day and during the afternoon we experienced sunshine and also rain, but that didnt stop the smiles of joy from Aman and Amanzeer – even under their umberella. After the proposal we set off for a trip around the Loch, took lots of pictures and then afterwards they went for a romantic meal for two at the Cameron House Boat House before catching their plane back to the Mildlands. Truly a happy day and a day that Aman and Amanzeer will remember forever.
