Blytheswood Hotel Wedding Photographer in Glasgow
Louise & Luca
Their wedding day in Giffnock, and at the Blytheswood Hotel in Glasgow…
Louise is from Glasgow and Luca is from Italy, and they met at work in Switzerland, and its hard not to understand why Louise fell in love with Luca – with his good looks and Italian charm. They decided to get married in Glasgow and what an international day it was with family from Scotland and Italy, and friends from all over Europe.
They were married at Netherlee Church near Giffnock, which is the church that Louise would visit before moving away from home. I not sure what Luca’s Mum and Dad – Vanilla and Renzo – thought of the piper, but I am sure they thought it was uniquely Scottish. After the ceremony Louise and Luca had their reception at the Blytheswood Hotel in Glasgow. And after canapés in the upstairs cocktail lounge they proceeded downstairs for the wedding breakfast. With a colourful theme of purple, the room looked wonderful. And to make Luca’s parents feel at home, the speeches were in Italian and English.
Afterwards I took Louise and Luca outside into the Blytheswood Square garden, and with their good looks and some unique Scottish sunshine we got some great portraits. Afterwards, Louise and Luca led the way for their first dance, and then Louise’s parents – Roma and Charles – led the way for the evening Ceilidh. An international day of smiles, beautiful people and beautiful surroundings, and a great way to start their new lives together.
