Emma and Graeme’s Wedding in Glasgow
Emma and Graeme have been together for a while, and like many things, life just gets in the way of things. They were going to get married one day, it was just a question of when. Graeme looked smart and handsome in his dark blue suit with tartan waistcoat, with his best man and groomsmen wearing the same suits and waistcoats. Emma arrived in style, and her dress was stunning. It was a fitted dress with a small train and it was completely covered in lace. The shoulders and arms were also lace, and it was finished off with a silver and diamanté belt at the waist. She looked beautiful.
The ceremony was at the Holy Trinity in Coatbridge, which is a really grand church, full of warmth and spleandour. There was hymns and also some readings and also a singer during the ceremony, which made the ceremony that little bit more special. After the ceremony it was time for the groups, which I managed to squeeze-in at one side of the church, and then it was off to a nearby park for some pictures of Emma and Graeme – and I couldn’t resist taking a picture of them at a bus stop. Why? I don’t really know, seemed a good idea at the time, but I suppose that’s wedding photography…
After the portraits we went to the Mint restaurant in Coatbridge to meet the rest of their family and friends for the afternoon reception. It has a room upstairs for private parties was really quite nice, made especially so by the warm and friendly staff. Afterwards we all went to St Patrick’s hall for the evening reception, which was became packed to the rafters when all their friends arrived. And there was lots of them..!
The cake was really cute, and when I was taking pictures, all I wanted to do was have a taste as it looked delicious. The evening started with the speeches, then the cake cutting – which seemed a shame to cut something so nice looking – and then the evening dances, with not a spare bit of space on the dance floor as everyone was having a really good dance. It was only a small wedding during the daytime, but it was certainly a great wedding for everyone there, including Emma and Graeme, who are a really nice couple. Full of love and happiness, and I really do wish you both long and happy lives together as you are a perfect couple.
