Glazert House Wedding Photographer in Lennoxtown

Stacey and Gavin were certainly blessed on this wedding day in Glasgow. Blessed at their wedding service and blessed by the weather as it was certainly a beautiful day. Gavin arrived at St Joseph’s in Cumbernauld looking ultra smart in his King Edward style suit with silk waistcoat and tie – together with his similarly dressed best man and groomsmen. St Joseph’s is big, and yet both families filled the church. It was a great sight to see.

Stacey arrived on time, and she looked beautiful in her ivory strapless dress and deep blue silk shoes. With an eight piece string orchestra filling the church with music Stacey entered the church for the start of her new journey in life. And with an opera singer on hand to serenade the gathering during the service, Stacey and Gavin became one.

After some pictures outside the church, we all headed north of Glasgow to Lennoxtown and to the Glazert House Hotel where a wonderful day was spent in basking sunshine in wonderful surroundings. Despite the heat, despite the champagne, and despite the family atmosphere, Stacey and Gavin were as cool as cucumbers during the whole day and never stopped smiling, even when I took far too many pictures of them in the gardens and around the house.

After the speeches, and a very revealing best man’s speech, the day finalised with Stacey and Gavin’s first dances, with the rest of the evening taken up with most of the guests rocking the night away to the sounds of a really superb wedding band. A great day, a great wedding, a great venue and most of all – a great couple. Thank you Stacey and Gavin…!
