Kind Words & TestimonialsSome of the nice things people have said
As a wedding photographer, I have the privilege get to play a part in a couple’s wedding by capturing their day and sharing their joy. Sometimes the couple will send me a card, a letter or even an email with their thanks, which I fully appreciate because it gives me a lot of pleasure knowing that I’ve played a part in their wedding.
Here are a few messages that I have received from happy couples…
So happy we found Ian and chose him to take our wedding photographs. A very small intimate, relaxed and casual day made perfect with the addition of beautiful photographs. Can’t describe how thrilled we are with them.
We would recommend Ian to anyone looking for a professional, talented and easy-to-work with photographer. He was on time, smartly dressed and made us all feel at ease. Our pictures are to die for and we received many compliments from our friends and family. Everything we received is high-quality and was sent to us within 2 weeks from the wedding day, just as promised. Choosing a photographer was not an easy task, but we couldn’t have chosen any better. Thank you Ian for everlasting memories!
Ian was absolutely fantastic! He was so charming and personable, and the guests loved him as well! We are so incredibly happy with his photographs and so excited that he was willing to take us on!
We would recommend Ian to anyone looking for a truly great photographer! We had a fairly small wedding, but we were still incredibly nervous, and it was great to have someone like Ian playing on our team. Ian really went above and beyond so that we never felt lost or confused in the hubbub after the ceremony. All of our guests noticed, and gave Ian high praise. We just got our album, and the photos are amazing! We couldn’t possibly have been any happier with our experience with Ian and we would recommend him to anyone.
Ian is a fantastic photographer. Found him to be really easy going, lovely guy, a total professional and very reasonably priced too. Got our wedding album in recently and we couldn’t be happier with the photos he took on our wedding day. He captured everything perfectly. Would recommend him to anyone looking for a wedding photographer.
Ian did us proud when it came to the images captured of our special day. He was great fun to work with and just blended into the background, capturing the essence of the day rather than anything too staged. Yes, of course, we did the usual family photos which were posed, but Ian put everyone at their ease and the photos he took looked really natural. he also got some amazing shots of us in front of the beautiful Argyll & Bute scenery. A memorable day, made even more so with the help of Ian. Thank you..!
Thank you so much for capturing our special day. The photo’s are amazing and we love the memories you have created for us. The slideshow and accompanying music is perfect.
It was an absolute pleasure to have you at our wedding and we really can’t thank you enough! From the moment you arrived you presented such a professional persona, nothing was too much trouble for you and you put us at ease. We had a perfect day with our nearest and dearests, sunshine, rain, laughter, tears. Everyone commented on your lively, wonderful style which really helped keep the guests entertained during the staged photos and other than that nobody realised you were taking pictures!
The day really was everything and more than we wished for and it went by in a bit of a blur so really need the pictures to piece it all together..!
We were married at the Knockderry Hotel and used Ian Arthur as the photographer. We just wanted to let you know how very pleased we are with the photographs and service. Ian was fantastic on the day and we have some beautiful photographs and also a great DVD of the day which has been put together professionally and will be a fantastic reminder of our special day for years to come.
I cannot recommend Ian highly enough to you for any of your future weddings where the couples need a photographer. This is a special and important part of any wedding and he was excellent in both service and quality.
We said our vows at Luss Parish Church and partied afterwards at Ross Priory. Before the big day everyone said that the day will pass quickly and that we should stand back and take a moment to absorb the atmosphere and remember. We did indeed try to take it all in, but for all those special moments we didn’t catch, thankfully Ian did!!
Ian has captured our wedding day perfectly, he was so professional and yet easy to work with, he easily made us laugh making for great pictures. He went above and beyond and highly exceeded our expectations and we would strongly recommend Ian to anyone. Once again, we thank you Ian, for capturing our wedding day in such a way that we can look back through the photos and smile again.
Ian exceeded all of the expectations we desired in a wedding photographer. Ian catered to our requests to create a unique wedding package that was designed to fit our special event. Ian’s photography captured all of the special moments of our wedding day to take back and share with our friends and family members in the USA.
Ian has a true gift of capturing special moments on film, but just as innate is his ability to make the wedding party comfortable and relaxed resulting in natural and unstaged memoirs. We love you, Ian. We will cherish our wedding pictures forever. Not only did we find a world class photographer in Ian Arthur but also a lifelong kindred spirit across the Atlantic.
We really can’t thank Ian enough for what he did for us. We live in Yorkshire and wanted to get married on Loch Lomond but being so far away it was a worry about which photographer to use, as we think the pictures are important. We couldn’t have chosen a better photographer as right from the start we felt at ease with Ian and he was so helpful.
On the day Ian was great, but the strange thing is we didn’t know he was there for much of the time. I could see him from time to time but that was it. When we got the pictures we were amazed how many there were and how he’d managed to take pictures of things that I completely missed. He’s a great photographer and we are so glad he was OUR wedding photographer. The whole family just loved the pictures and we’re so happy. Thank you, Ian.
We wanted to say a massive thank you for our storybook and everything else too. The book is absolutely gorgeous, I am in love with it! It was great receiving it in time for Christmas to share with our friends and family who are all very impressed.
Now that the wedding is just a memory we couldn’t be happier with the photographs which we can cherish forever and remember our day. Everyone agrees your enthusiasm and dedication on the day made you the perfect photographer and what we have received is incredible value for money. We honestly can’t thank you enough for your hard work and commitment to making our wedding special, it is so appreciated.
Ian did a wonderful job of our wedding. He captured the day perfectly and we have the most wonderful photographs. He made us feel 100% comfortable and on our wedding he captured the essence of the day in a series of natural shots. We could not have been happier. I would recommend him to all my friends and family.
We wouldn’t think twice about suggesting you to our friends. From the outset you were so helpful. What made you stand put from other photographers was your lovely email when we first contacted you. It was nice to get a more personal response. Neither of us are very keen at getting out pictures taken and I certainly don’t tend to like being too much in the centre of attention.
At the wedding you were great; from helping me walk in the snow to putting up with endless requests from our friends and family. A number of our guests commented on how polite you were. It was nice that getting our pictures taken didn’t seem to take us away from our guests for hours. You really fitted round our day rather than us around you. We were delighted with our pictures. We were so excited to see them and enjoyed spending time looking at them when we were on our honeymoon. We had such a great wedding day and you really helped with making it such a success. Thanks.
All our family and friends commented on how friendly and professional you were and also how relaxed you made everyone feel! Many thanks for making our day so memorable and giving us such amazing photos!
Neither of us had ever had any professional photographs taken before, so we were a little apprehensive, but we coupldnt of been happier. Ian is personable, competent and very efficient – he quickly put family and guests at ease on the big day with his sense of humour. I have no hesitation is recommending Ian Arthur to anyone as the beautiful results spoke for themselves.
I am Donna’s Mum and have just seen your photos. I would just like to say that they are fantastic. You captured the wedding so well. It was lovely being at Stuckgowan House for the wedding and the photos you took at the Lake were just beautiful, so thank you so much. x.
On the day you were unobtrusive but captured the whole story of the day. All our guests commented on your friendly energetic approach but said they didn’t feel bored by long sessions as they have at other weddings. Thank you so much for our wonderful wedding day memories.
All our family and friends commented on how friendly and professional you were and also how relaxed you made everyone feel during the whole wedding day. Thank you for making our day so memorable and giving us such amazing photographs. Thank you so much…!.
The images you captured on the day are simply stunning and the friendly way you dealt with everyone was great. You were unbelievably patient as we revised and revised again the proof of the wedding album so we could get it just as we wanted it – and the Storybook is perfect.
