Kirsty and Huw love the countryside and the great outdoors. Which is one of the reasons why they decided to get married at Kinlochard, which is just past Aberfoyle, overlooking Loch Ard.
How looked splendid in his charcoal woolen jacket and dark grey kilt, whereas Kirsty looked wonderful in her ivory dress. And to carry on the woodland theme, Kirsty’s dress was emroidered on the front and back with leaved to depict her love of nature.
The celebrant for the ceremony was Mary Wallace from Doune, who is a humanist celebrant and covers most of Scotland with her warm, wise and friendly wedding words. After the ceremony it was canapes then several family groups overlooking the Loch, and then some pictures of Kirsty and Huw on the lochside.
After the wedding breakfast, the evening started with a slow dance for the newlyweds and then erupted into a raucus and very fast moving ceilidh. A wonderful end to a wonderful day for two people who were very much in love, and another wonderful wedding at Kinlochard.
