Lodge on the Loch Wedding Photographer at Loch Lomond
Tracey and Ben have been together for a while and planned to get married when the time was right. They also wanted to get their wedding day ‘just right’ so a fair bit of planning went into their day at the Lodge on the Loch.
Ben’s father was the best Man, and both looked rather dapper in their dark grey suits. Alas, the weather wasn’t kind to us on the day, as we had lots of Scottish liquid sunshine – but – that shouldn’t stop the wedding or the smiles. Tracey arrived at the Lodge on Loch Lomond in a magnificent Beaufort from Carrs of Loch Lomond, and when she stepped out of the car I had to remind myself to keep taking pictures as Tracey looked amazing in her ivory 3/4 dress finished with lace. The dress finished above her ankles and I thought it was the perfect dress for her, especially with her dark hair and striking looks.
With a room decorated by Tracey, Ben and their best friends, it was perfect for their small wedding ceremony. Even though it was a small wedding, besides Tracey’s immediate family, there was also some of Ben’s family, who had travelled up from Kent. After the wedding and a few wedding canapes, I got Tracey and Ben back into the Beaufort and down the road to the village of Luss where it was time for pictures.
Even if its raining I still like to get the couple outside for some pictures, and armed with umbrellas I got them on the pier and onto the beach for some nice portraits together, and I must admit, its a bit difficult for me to hold my cameras and an umbrella so I got quite wet – which doesn’t matter as it was well worth getting wet for. After the pictures it was back to the Lodge on the Loch for their wedding breakfast and then the evening dance. Before I left I also managed to get a few pictures of Tracey and Ben outside on the patio – lit by the evening lights – and they looked great. A lovely couple, a lovely day and most of all, some great pictures.
