Steph & Steven’s Wedding at The Lodge on the Loch Lomond
Stephanie and Steven were all at sea on Loch Lomond for their Lodge on the Loch Wedding. They met and fell in love and Steven proposed to Stephanie when they were having a holiday at loch Lomond – so where better to get married…? Stephanie made her preparations in one of the large lodges at Cameron House, which was a hive of activity all morning. The next part of the master-plan was to travel across Loch Lomond by boat, to where Steven would be waiting with all the guests for her wedding at the Lodge on the Loch.
The day was wet. Very wet – but the weather really isn’t that important because all that matters is the day and the wedding. With a piper on the jetty, the mist parted and Stephanie arrived on a beautiful motor cruiser with her bridesmaids. Along the jetty and into the Lodge, Stephanie and Steven had their ceremony and became one while overlooking Loch Lomond and fulfilling their dream.
After the ceremony Stephanie and Steven had a receiving line for canapés, and once the guests were settled the newlyweds and the bridesmaids took a boat ride across the loch. For the heck of it, a glass of champagne and also for a few pictures. It was a bit wet, and a bit windy – but we managed it.
After the wedding breakfast the evening started with with a bang. Stephanie and Steven led the way with the first dance and then the guests took over the dancing, with the a high energy evening accompanied by Three Card Trick – a pretty loud and fast wedding band. A great wedding day, culminating with a honeymoon and then to their new house in Aberdeen. I wish you well…
