Shamiso and Irvin came to know each other through a frined. They met, they fell in love – and the rest they say is history…. Although they are from Nottingham, they love Scotland. The scenery, the hospitality and the vibe. They just ‘feel at one’ when they are in Scotland so this is where they decided to get married. And they chose Loch Lomond.
Due to all the covid stuff they decided to keep things small so they travelled up to Scotland with just a few of their closest. The ceremony was on the patio outside the MacMillan Suite, and was officiated by Jane MacGregor from the Helensburgh Register Office. Irvin arrived with a massive smile and wearing a wonderful black suit, acompanied by Zion, who was dressed in matching tousers, waistcoat and shoes. And then not long after Shamiso made her entrance. Wearing an ivory dress with a diamante neckline, Shamiso was accompanied down the aisle with Zahara, who looked like a princess in her lace dress.
Overlooking Loch Lomond, and under the June sunshine, Samiso and Irvin exchanged rings and were married. After a few glasses of bubbly and some family pictures I whisked them further up the Loch for some pictures and then back again in time for their sit-down, and in time to cut their wonderfully floral wedding cake.
An intimate wedding day for Samiso and Irvin, who loved every minute of their Loch Lomond wedding – and who are themselves, very much in love. And as Robert Browning said: Grow old with me! The best is yet to be.
