Stuckgowan House Wedding Photography at Loch Lomond
Lucy & Liam
Their wedding day at Stuckgowan House in Argyll
Lucy and Liam are from Kent. They really wanted to do something special for their wedding, plus something small and intimate – so they decided to have their wedding at Stuckgowan House. This beautiful house is located about half-way along Loch Lomond near Tarbet – and its the perfect venue for those smaller days.
Accompanied by their families and closest friends, they arrived the day before and took over the house. It had been snowing a few days before, so thankfully it didn’t cause then any problems with the journey. Emma looked simply beautiful in her ball-gown dress, with a fitted top and lace lower. She looked beautiful.
Lian wore a dark suit with a colourful tie – to match the colours of the day – which was a warm comfort on this cold day. After a humanist ceremony and some cape’s, we shot some group pictures and then I took Lucy and Liam for a small drive in my car down to the loch, where we took some portraits. Fortunately it was dry, and there was still sow on the ground, and it was blisteringly cold, – but we managed some great pictures with the Loch and the snow-clad countryside. A wonderful day, and a wonderful couple.
