The Lodge on Loch Lomond Winter Wedding – Roslyn & Alan

Roslyn and Alan met through her work. Alan is deaf, and Roslyn works with the deaf. They met, they fell in love and now theyre getting married. And what a wedding day it was…

They love Loch Lomond so it was only natural that they get married on the bonnie banks of the Loch. Wearing a charocal jacket and red kilt, Alan looked splendit. Roslyn stle the show with her ivory mermaid weddin dress. The top half was heavily embroidered and the mermaid was many layers of lace with embroidery on the top and lower parts of the mermaid. Beautiful.

The ceremony took place indoors, but overlooking the loch, and after the canapes and a few family groups, I took Roslyn and Alan over to Luss Pier for some pictures together. After the wedding breakfast and speeches, the evening started with a beautifully rehersed first dance by Roslyn and Alan. Roslyn had changed out of her wedding dress to wear a small red-dress, because once the eveing started it kicked off in raucus style – with a ceilidh.  Roslyn and Alan led the way on the dance floor, and there still wasnt enough room on the dance floor by the time I left. A wonderful day and a wonderful wedding with an equally wonderful couple.
