The Scottish Highlands and Islands cover a lot of ground. Its an immense area, starting from Ayr and going all the way up to the top of Scotland, and its full of spectacular views and scenery. Many couples head for the Highlands or Islands to get married, maybe for personal reasons, but on the whole I think its because they want to make their day more special – and it certainly does. Getting married in the Highlands or the Islands is a one-off experience, as besides the stunning scenery, there are also countless churches, hotels, bothy’s and spectacular places to have your wedding. This is what makes it so special.
