A small Wedding at Luss Church and the Loch Lomond Arms
Caroline and John met through work and fell in love. Life kind of got in the way – in the shape of their wee son – and they eventually named the day for their wedding. They love Loch Lomond so decided to get married at Luss Church in the small village of Luss on the shores of Loch Lomond. Not being the kind of people who like a lot of fuss they kept the guests to a minimum with just their closest family and friends.
The wedding ceremony was officiated by Carolin’e Uncle – who just happened to be a Church of Scotland Minister. Funny how life has happy coincidences sometimes…! Unfortunately the day was a wet one. One of the wettest for a while – but that didnt stop the smiles, the love and the affection of Caroline and John.
After the ceremony, and armed with some large unbrellas, I walked Caroline and John down to Luss Pier for some pictures. Well, it was wet – but that’s not going to stop me getting some pictures. After that it was up to the Loch Lomond Arms for the canapes, lots of hugs and kisses from their family and friends, some Prosecco and then their wedding breakfast.
It was only a small wedding, but despite the rain and grey sky, it was a wonderful wedding. Full of smiles, love and affection.
