Cameron House Wedding Photographer at Loch Lomond

Emily and Allan planned the perfect day at Cameron House, overlooking the banks of Loch Lomond. They both have large families and an even larger love for each other, and what better way to get married than to have a large wedding day. Emily is a perfectionist and likes everything ‘just so’, and between you and me, I think she’s been planning this wedding for ever…! Emily had meticulously planned everything, from what to wear, the events of the day and how the rooms were decorated. It was a stunning wedding.

The wedding was taking place at Cameron House on the banks of Loch Lomond, and arriving for the preparations Emily’s room was a hive of activity. Make up, hair, clothes, mothers…. Did I say Mothers…? Elizabeth is Emily’s Mum, and they are joined at the hip. Elizabeth was there to help Emily along and ensue things didn’t get too much out of hand. Not that they would…! Emily had two dresses for the day, a white traditional dress with a bodice type top and large lace skirt. Her evening dress was an ivory 3/4 dress. I couldn’t wait to see Emily in her dresses. And her shoes…! Glittery is an understatement. They were beautiful.

Like clockwork the day ensued, and accompanied by a quintet of musicians, Emily made her entrance on the arm of her Father, just behind her four bridesmaids. Allan looked every bit as handsome in his family tartan, with his two groomsmen in matching tartan. The Reverend Iain Miller officiated, delivering his afternoon service in his unique and entertaining way, and before we knew it, Emily and Allan were walking out of the room as Mr & Mrs Murray.

The weather was a bit strange, bright and sunny, but cool with quite a crosswind, so after the canapés we ventured outside for some groups, then some pictures of Emily and Allan. Back inside again it was time for the wedding breakfast into a room which was full of crystal, candles and flowers. Emily and Allan were piped into the wedding breakfast to the resounding cheers and claps from all their family and friends. Emily’s Dad made his speech, and then Allan, with a few tears from Emily during both speeches. The Best Man was the finale before their long and sumptuous wedding breakfast.

After the breakfast, Emily changed into her evening dress and we got a few pictures inside and outside Cameron House before venturing inside again for the cake cutting and their first dance. Emily and Allan led the way for the first dance, which then turned into a Ceilidh. A rather loud, boisterous and happy Ceilidh full of screams, shouts and swirling. A wonderful day for Emily and Allan, a day which I’m sure their families and friends will not forget.
