Their wedding day at the Lodge at Loch Goil in Argyll

Loch Goil is in Argyll, and is one of those venues that is truly unique – The Lodge on Loch Goil. Built as a 19th century hunting lodge, today the Lodge plays host to weddings and ceremonies in the most beautiful surroundings. You can get married in the main house, or you can get married in a beautiful tree house. And it was here that Stacey and Alex travelled from London to enjoy Argyll, and their wonderful wedding day at the Lodge on Loch Goil.

The day started a little bit grey, but as the day way wore on the Argyll weather blessed us with blue skies – and some great photography. Stacey looked superb in a 50’s style cream a-line dress with, finished with pale green net-petticoats, and as Alastair is a Scot, he wore his family tartan. With their immediate families squeezing into the tree-house, the service was helped by their two son’s, who sprinkled magic dust in their wedding bindings , and then canapés and a wedding breakfast in the main room at the Lodge, we shot some great pictures in the late afternoon sunshine. The evening was finished off in another part of the lodge with a small Ceilidh, with lots of swirls and lots of smiles, to make Stacey and Alex’s day complete.
