Helensburgh Register Office Wedding Photographer

Because I’m a full-time photographer I’m available seven days a week and because of this, I get to do the things I like best – like photograph small and intimate mid-week weddings. I love these kind of weddings because they’re small, full of emotion and I get to spend more time with the couple. Anyway…

Robert is from Helensburgh and works in different parts of the world. For the past few years he’s been living and working in Hungary, which is where he met the lovely Monika. He met her through work and finally plucked up the courage to ask her out for a date and then – they fell in love and Robert asked her to marry him. She accepted, and the rest, as they say – is history.

Although Robert wasn’t too bothered where he got married – as all he wanted to do was marry the love of his life – Monika liked the idea of having a ceremony in Scotland instead of Hungary, so that’s what they did and decided to have a small ceremony at the Register Office in Helensburgh, and then a lovely afternoon at Cameron House to finish the day. Robert drove Monika to the Register Office and they walked down the aisle together. Together in love and together in marriage…! With a few of their closest, it was a small and intimate ceremony, presided over by Jane, one of the Register Office’s wonderful celebrants.

Unfortunately on the day of their ceremony the West Coast of Scotland decided it wanted to show the worst of itself and it was rather a wet day – but that didn’t stop us bat all. After the ceremony we got a few pictures outside the Register office before heading down to Cameron House for their afternoon. After a few pictures outside I drove them down to the Boathouse for a few more pictures – and then it was time for their afternoon meal.

Whether it was raining or sunshine it wouldn’t have changed the day, their ceremony and more importantly, their love for each other. I wish you both a long and happy life in Hungary.
